A Big Audition In little ol' Nashville
The anticipation throughout my whole being is at full boil right now. Tomorrow I will be heading in for an audition here in Nashville. A new Pilot about a New York Italian family that moves to Nashville. Nervous? Hmmm not so much as excitement with a hint of omg am I really doing this again? Will I deliver? Will I be the right look? Can I still do my New York accent after four years in the south? Just a few things running through my head. I've got my head on straight and know that only I can do what I do so everything will be fine and it's all up to me to wow them. I will let you know tomorrow how it went and hopefully will announce soon my new role lol. Optimism there not conceit. lol

My Journey Back To Hollywood
I'm a 37 year old actress returning to acting after a long hiatus. I took time away from the passions and dreams in my heart for some of the most gratifying and amazing years of my life. There is nothing that prepares you for the joys, and struggles of motherhood. It's a continuous emotional roller coaster and from this I have gained such life experience to hone my craft.
Fifteen years ago I left the business just as I was beginning to get good auditions and headway to raise my little family. I thought I was leaving behind my dreams, my soul and myself but what I have realized is that it just wasn't my time. The struggles, joys and life's moments have shaped me into such a better actor. It has given me depth and insight. I have real life experiences to draw from and nobody can teach that.
This blog is to be my journal on coming back to not where I was but to a better more prepared actor pursuing her dreams with passion and drive. I have a story to tell and this is it. A middle aged mom not giving up her dreams. An actor who isn't in LA or NY but on a quest to align herself to make the move into one of the Entertainment Meccas. The struggles, the joys, the laughs and the tears will all be spilled out here.
